"Public was in probably one of the best neighborhoods in all of New York, it was so accessible to get everywhere by foot, subway and uber. The two airports are only 30 minutes away and the hotel offers a cool nightlife as well I didn't need to venture too far from. The only issue I have is that I booked a room on a higher floor expecting a view per Expedia description paying the extra $$ and all i saw was the building behind us and that's it. "I reserved a Pod by accident (trip with my 9 yr old niece) and I reserved the room so quickly because I was SO excited about the bunk beds, that I neglected to realize that the showers and toilets were in the hallway, but we had a sink in the room! Lol! It was an adventure- my oversight! The property is great. Outdoor space, restaurant/bar on main floor and the elevators can quickly despite World Cup travelers filled the hotel and lots of people! It was great. We had a nice time there."

"Really impressed with our stay at the Freehand. Location was great for what we needed. Room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Bed super comfy and I slept so well! (Unlike me for hotel stays!). I thoroughly recommend it."
