"Lovely little house, with everything you need for a home from home. Downsides- there is child lock on the Wi-fi, not good for a tradesman working away. Cold house- woke up every morning shivering. Wasn’t sure how to set heating timer. And next door there are elderly neighbours who must be deaf- they are night owls and I’m sure their tv is directly opposite the wall of bed stand. Was maybe 2am before all was quiet. Also nothing to do with house but there were scrambler bikes going up and down...

"Unfortunately didn’t get to experience the property as our host cancelled which I didn’t find out until I messaged them the night before requesting information, terrible experience which ultimately ruined the planned weekend as nothing else available 16 hours before departure, if I hadn’t text I would of arrived and turned away ??? Poor host, unforgivable lack of communication and basic respect"

"There is much more to say but overall, I was reminded more of student accommodation than holiday accommodation for grandparents and guests. I fear the stairs and general state of the place led 2 of our party and their child to refuse to stay and they moved to an hotel. Headline pricing for our 6 nights had been significantly increased as a result of needing to sleep 7, with hindsight strengthening the impression of student accommodation let by the person. I will have overpaid by 3 persons too....

"Wet towels in washing machine. All cutlery & crockery & pots & pans were dirty & had food stains left on them, we had to wash everything properly. Leaking gutters which caused flooding in the kitchen had to use the towels to dry the floor. Unable to have a bath as no bath plug. Cooker need’s updating as cooks very slow & is very old. No oven gloves, no tin opener, no cooking trays. Main front door need’s replacing broken pane by lock on the door with just a piece of wood covering, door very weak...

"This is not a location we would have chosen to stay had we had photographs of the outside or view from the property. It had a 'town' location, but was a 7 minute drive from any facilities. We booked because it had car parking facilities and two properties in Wellingborough that gave NO indication of car parking failed to answer out query."
