We had a terrific stay on the Lady Faye - we are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys ( age 17 and 13). #CreekStreet #Ketchikan #Alaska Creek Street is a historic area of Ketchikan. The street is actually a boardwalk mounted on a set of stakes that support the dwellings built on the water. Formerly it was the district of the red light of Ketchikan. The brothels were banned and closed in 1954. Now the street is a place with shops, galleries, totems and the museum of the House of Dolly. Creek Street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014. A Creek Street é uma área histórica de Ketchikan. We were in town for a state swim meet in the tourist off season which made for a pretty quiet visit. Most of the shops are closed this time of year.

Ketchikan is a beautiful place with plenty of hiking trails and scenery. It is an amazing place to visit to recharge your mind and cleanse your soul. The people are nice and friendly and the food is delicious. I will be back again very soon.
