"I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent. Grundsätzlich schön gelegen, etwas abseits, weswegen wir es auch gebucht haben. Allerdings gab es das angegebene Restaurant nicht, sodass man darauf angewiesen ist, zum Essen gehen nochmal loslaufen zu müssen. Frühstück muss man einen Tag vorher auswählen und per App bestellen. "6 jours dans cet hôtel et extrêmement déçu. Alors dans un premier temps les lits sont sales à notre arrivés ainsi que les serviettes, la salle de bain des fourmis partout. Nos filles sont tombées malade, je les ai contactés pour qu’ils viennent changer le linge de lit car elles avaient vomi. Ils m’ont donné du linge de lit pour moi le changer, je leur ai demandé de le faire. "I would say this was with the cost for sure, but you get what you pay for. There was no sink in the bathroom and the toilet sprayer kept falling off. So it was worth it for the price tag but certainly not anything fancy. "

"I’m giving this hotel 2 stars mainly because of the cleanliness and the overall condition of both the hotel and the room, which felt quite run-down and in need of maintenance. On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful, and the location is definitely a strong point. However, considering the price we paid (over €100 per night, almost 500 MYR), I don’t feel it offers good value for money. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless improvements are made."
