"Used this for some worker housing. My employees were very very happy with the house and accommodations. Owner was very accommodating for us and the experience was excellent "
"Three couples came for a long weekend to play pickleball, golf and boat with two other couples in another house.Pros: cute house, very clean, loved the outdoor seating, plenty of towels, plenty of eating utensils and dishes, perfect location for us - right across pickleball courts and live concert plus, walking distance from the boat dock, very responsive owners.Cons: no end table or lamps in third bedroom only overhead lighting. Only overhead lighting in living room as well. All rentals (not just this home) should provide paper towels, tissue, bath soap or body wash & plenty of tp. Do people actually travel with these items, especially if flying in? Also, it would be helpful to put the house address on the front of the house (in large font) instead of around the back in small lettering."
"This is an amazing ranch property owned by a multigenerational family who stayed to fight the recent wildfire and saved the area around the ranch. This is as close as you can get to the Yellowstone (series) experience in Northern California. This vrbo is a basement studio under a ranch family member's residence, so expect some noise from above. He is very friendly and has a chill dog. The bed is one of the best we've slept in! The hot spring (basic metal tub setup with a deck and chairs) is on the ranch property nearby. You can only find it using the instructions inside the room as it's located on the ranch area across the main road and behind 2 cattle fences and across a tiny wood bridge. 4 wheel drive vehicle is advised but we made it without bottoming out in our Tesla Model 3 to both the dock location (free kayaking) and the hot spring during the dry summer, but would not try it if mud is possible. You will likely be alone at either location unless another guest or family member shows up.A 120v outlet is near the parking area so we were able to trickle charge the EV and made it back to the Sacramento area with no problem and also drove to Lassen Volcanic Park Bumpass Hell trailhead whole there. Fully charge in Truckee on the way here for best range."
"Lake View cottage is perfectly located for fun on the Almanor peninsula. My family and I went to participate in the Courage race. We had a wonderful weekend. The cottage hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. I would not recommend this property for an elderly group as the stairs are very steep and could be hard to navigate for some. Other than that, it had beautiful views and a large deck for family dinners. "
