Clean but basic…TV wasn’t working due to maintenance. Nice courtyard and adjacent bar for those inclined. Bathroom small but seems to be recently remodeled. Often used as Arizona’s trail town for hikers. Beds were adequate and reasonably comfortable.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Let me start with the good: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and there's actually a bar onsite that had good Irish whiskey.
I saw several reviews about lack of hot water, the TVs not working, hard beds, and there not being any coffee in the rooms (or the lobby) - all true. The town is under stage 5 water restrictions, so frankly, turning the hot water temp down keeps people from taking super long wasteful showers. I'm not saying that they have done this, but the water was only tolerably warm and not anywhere near hot. My shower was predictably short. The TV in my room did not work. Here's the thing that made me laugh - there is a direct TV receiver in the room with a HDMI cable coming out of it. The TV was so old that it was not equipped with a HDMI port. There's NO WAY the TV will work like that. There was no coffee in the room but there was a sticker on the TV that said "complimentary coffee available in the kitchen". HMMM...I couldn't find a kitchen and the bar was closed. The bed, well, it wasn't exactly cushy, but at least it wasn't lumpy and didn't have a big dip in the middle of it. There was no blow dryer either. Good thing I had my own and I brought my own coffee maker. There's an IGA next door and a Family Dollar across the street if you need stuff.
In spite of all that I'm booked again next week - same room. It's the only place to stay for miles. The devil you know, right? It's clean & the people are nice, so I'm good.
I liked the place. But it could of been better. Our T.V. never worked. The breakfast that was advertised never happened. No coffee in the room or lobby.
