This isn't quite the Remarkables Ski Area but it's not that far away. It was November and the biggest snow fall that Queenstown had ever had in that month fortuitously dumped some lovely white stuff all over the mountain tops. We went out the next day and could only get so far before the road was closed due to snow clearing activities. Still, it was a lovely drive!

Great views of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown and afar can be had from the road leading up to The Remarkables ski range. The ski range is closed in the summer months but the the road is open if you want to get some great views. #mountains
