"Very professional staff, some of whom (maybe all? I'm not sure) speak English.
The hotel lobby has a door directly to a convenience store with food, health and beauty products, and summer supplies such as parasols.
My room, while small, had a desk, full bathroom, and plenty of space for my luggage.
The hotel is conveniently located just a few blocks away from the main Okayama train station, which has both local trains and the Shinkansen.
I highly recommend!"
"After dealing with the crowd in Kyoto, we were able to relax in Okayama. The location of this hotel was great, accessible to public transportation and Aeon is just 3 minutes away by walk. Staff were professional and helpful. The facility is not new but well maintained."
"Bathroom flooded every day. Couldn’t tell if it was the bath or aircon outlet (which the lovely reception guy said), but every time we took a bath there’d be a few centimetres of water on the bathroom floor. Cleared pretty quickly. Still a bit annoying. Hotel is in a great location, close to train station / tram stops / shopping mall. Breakfast buffet standard but reliable. Staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again."
"The staff was helpful and kind right as we entered the lobby. When for a recommendations for dinner they not only made reservations on our behalf, they wanted to make sure we got there and went out of their way to give us a photo of the place and drew a detailed map for us.
The onsen was wonderfull. They had everything one could wish for. 3 bathes: outdoorish, indoor hot and indoor cold. They had all the creams and soaps one could need. The free ice cream at the end of the onsen was the cherry on top.
A great free washing machine."
