The Texas Rig - Cabin on Caddo Lake

  • Located on the beautiful Caddo Lake tucked away in the quiet wooded cove of Buzzard Bay in the middle of the Big Lake. This spacious, one of a kind cabin is located at Buzzard Bay Landing and RV Park in Karnack, Texas right next to the Texas/Louisiana border. Bring your boat/kayak/canoe and fishing poles and enjoy our easy access boat ramp on site. For boat tours of Caddo Lake, call Ricky Beard (Nine-Zero-Three) 470-4814.

Host was very responsive had a few issues, but they were resolved right away. Very quiet area was able to relax and enjoy my three days. Wi-Fi was a little iffy, but I think that’s due to the tin roof. I will stay again.

Perfect for 2. Nice view of the water off the long covered porch. Great ceiling fan and other fans if needed. Enjoyed fishing from the pier and listening to all the birds.

Beautiful location and great cabin!

We loved the porch on the cabin so much we were able to grill and cook outside with a beautiful view of Caddo lake! Super clean place we loved it!

Place was not very clean with dead bugs all over the windowsills. TV, despite there being 3 remotes none worked and only 1 channel available with no volume control. Raining when we got there and running water greeted us at the entrance and no option but to walk thru it. Worst experience ever and do not recommend

Perfect fishing trip

Great cabin for me and my sons. We spent 2 days fishing. Easy place close to cabin to launch our boat. Quiet. Also ate at the nearby Mexican restaurant which was great with fast service.

Amazing property!!!

I’m a little bit of a clean freak so I didn’t give 5 stars on cleanliness but it was tolerable. The lake and the views and the quiet more than made up for the little bit of cleanliness issues I did see. I’d definitely go back and stay again!! One happy camper here!!
