"This is a very old hotel, and the furnishings in the room are not up to Marriott’s usual standards. The front office staff were neither professional in appearance nor particularly helpful.
One thing I found completely unacceptable was being charged 25% of the room rate for requesting a late check-out at 1:00 pm. I have stayed at many Marriott hotels, and this was the first time I encountered such a policy.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I will not be returning to this hotel."
