The staff were generous and kind, we were able to book the private onsen for a very reasonable price to accommodate our tattoos and our family going together. The half board was delicious. This is not a luxury stay so much as a real Japanese cultural experience and we had a great time as a family of four USA folk with teens."

"Absolutely incredible stay at this authentic ryokan. The staff could not have been more helpful. They had several lovely onsen - some public and some private, the private ones didn’t need to be booked and we were able to use one without issue. The food was absolutely amazing - we booked half board and for dinner we were taken to our own room and brought an incredible array of Japanese foods and breakfast was a similar affair.
