"Das Kronprinz was everything we would want from a hotel and sensibly priced. Their breakfast, also reasonably priced, offered a very wide selection. The room was spacious and well furnished and had tea/coffee making facilities. Das Kronprinz is opposite the bus station and only a few minutes from the train station. A 4-minute train ride south takes you to the end of the Bonn tramway system. Cologne central station is about 20 minutes to the north and the airport is only a couple of stops away from Troisdorf. Troisdorf is a pleasant town with a selection of pubs, takeaways and restaurants."

H+ Hotel Köln Brühl

"My wife and I were in transit from Calais to Frankfurt and we needed somewhere to stay en route. This hotel came up in my search and was within my budget, so I booked it. I'm very glad I did! It's a modern, comfortable place, with many features that made our stay memorable. First and foremost, I must mention the front desk and restaurant staff. Every time I spoke with them during our stay, they were hospitable, helpful, and extended us every courtesy to ensure we were well looked after. I don't remember their names, but they all deserve to be acknowledged. I was a corporate trainer for 50 years and travelled extensively during that time, staying in thousands of hotels. Accordingly, I have developed a mental checklist of things I like and things I dislike when it comes to accommodation. I'm pleased to say that the H+ hotel in Bonn had no negatives! Some things I approved of: - Free self-parking with no height restrictions (I have luggage on my car roof rack that usually precludes using underground car parks.) - Elevator. My wife has limited mobility and cannot climb many stairs. - Air conditioning. The outside temperature was uncomfortably hot, but our room was cool. - Lots of hot water in the shower, with good pressure. - Power outlets on the wall each side of the bed. (So many hotels nowadays just have one power outlet by the desk on the wall opposite the bed making it inconvenient to charge my phone overnight or to work on my computer while sitting up in bed.)"

"Large room that was modern. Great TV choices. Well functioning bathroom."

"Apart from its central location and its historical architecture, the hotel was mediocre. The refrigerator did not work, there was no hair conditioner, no iron with ironing board. The very skinny bathtub with glass panel leaked water onto the floor while taking a shower. The bed was made of two separate mattresses that kept sliding apart. So if you want to snuggle with your partner think again I would stay there again strictlybecause of the central location."

"Great hotel on track right beside nurburgring complex but parking under hotel is tiny but you park in nurburgring parking complex €18 a night not bad walking distance"

"Unacceptable- the suite we got was smelling disgusting, shouldn’t have been given to customers (confirmed by house keeping) and we had to ask for a new room. The AC wasn’t really working and the room overheated and dirty. Room service unavailable."

"Room was clean, but air conditioning is not that great. Breakfast was very good and staff kept replenishing food. There is parking on site, but it was full, so I was directed to park at a nearby garage (3 min walk) which ended up being cheaper than the hotel parking lot."

"This was my 2nd stay here and just as the first time, everything was pretty much perfect. Well appointed room with a nice view of the river, nice bed, plenty of hot water in the bathroom. No complaints."
