Absolutely stunning view!! The room was decorated beautifully and we enjoyed the homemade shortbread cookies upon arrival. It was fun meeting other guests over breakfast and sharing tips. The town is a ten minute walk downhill for great restaurants and activities. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

The kitchen was great, it’s a lovely cottage set in beautiful gardens.

Retreat was very relaxing. The room we stayed in felt private, there is a nice lounge area outback with a hammock and comfy chairs. The hot tub was nice after a cold day kayaking. Jen was super friendly and helpful offering advice on restaurants in the area. The location is about 10min from downtown Kaikoura but exactly what we wanted in something away from the busy tourist area. Would 100% recommend this to others, great value.

Kitchen fully equipped with our cooking needs. Furniture comfortable, security good, parking excellent (undercover). Walking distance to main shopping area & short drive to supermarkets. The view to the ocean & mountains (snow-capped) was fantastic.

The room was clean and comfortable. We lacked nothing! And the front desk helped with dinner recommendations, made our reservations for us and arranged a shuttle when needed. Very welcoming.

We stayed in the aeonium apartment which doesnt have a sea view but is still in a great location in the lovely garden. The apartment was clean spacious and had kettle, toaster, nespresso machine and fridge. An excellent continental style breakfast is self service in the shared kitchen between 8 and 9am. Staff and other buests were feally friendly

Everything was great! Comfortable bed, Spacious room, and pleasant staff! I wish that there was a decaffeinated coffee choice and an alternative for sugar (like equal, or splenda). Other than that I have no suggestions to offer!

Clean, direct access to the beach, friendly staff

The motel unit is spacious! There are two bedrooms with queen bed in both. Kitchen is fully equipped even with dishwasher (after staying in 10 different motels/rental houses, this is the only one with dishwasher). The kids playground is so much fun, we had very bad weather during our stay there luckily there is the playground with some sort of digital interactive kunfu game or something. The giant trampoline was a hit too. The hot tub was semi outdoor and we got to see snow on the mountain...
