Clean room, friendly staff, great location if you want to walk around lake or want to try the public foot bath. They have a public onsen in the hotel. If you are interested in the local public onsen, it's also walking distance.

The place is great but i could not use the bath due to my tattoos. Also the room we stayed in was a smoking room when we paid for non-smoking. There is not a lot to do around the hotel unless you get a bus to another town. Breakfast was a very traditional Japanese breakfast.

The staff and meals were good. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Yet, air-conditioning made the room hot like sauna! Luckily, a staff could look for a fan for me so I could sleep. It is better for the hotel to let customers choose room temperature by themselves.

The room is spacious and offers a beautiful view of the lake. The customer service is attentive and thoughtful. As for the meals, there is an impressive variety of dishes, most of which are delicious—especially the botan shrimp, yellowtail, and the steamed egg custard with nodoguro. In addition, the breakfast exceeded my expectations and was the best I’ve had across my past ten ryokan stays. You can tell the differences through their careful selections of food ingredients. Excellent

Wonderful staff trying to do their best in the middle of a remodel in a dated property - few restaurant options near the hotel - Unfortunately, we had no view to the lake because of the remodel; however, we were never informed about this neither by the hotel not by hotels.com when we made the reservation.

夫婦で２泊で訪問。概ね他の方の口コミ通りです。食事処のお部屋は初日と2日目で変わりました。初日は広い、半個室というより2割しか覆われていない個室、お洒落なのでしょうか？2日目は狭くて居心地が悪かったです（お料理の配膳とセッティングが合っていないのか中居さんの動きが気になりました）夕飯は美味しいが朝ごはんは普通で、白米のおかわりは自分で、よそいに行かないとなりません。小さい干物が網の状態が悪く焦げてチラチラバラバラになりますので、ご注意下さい。露天風呂付きのお部屋でしたが、露天風呂では石鹸が使用禁止なので内風呂で洗髪などを済ませタオルで拭いて露天風呂へ移動しないとなりません。なので大浴場に行きましたが、少し歩きます。そして大浴場の露天風呂は斜め前方に高いホテルがありますので露天風呂の出入りをする時、気になる方もいらっしゃると思います。肝心のお湯ですが、私は気になりませんでしたが主人は塩が効き過ぎている、との事でその後一回しか入らず、勿体無い旅行になりました。2人で16万円、再訪なしですね。

お部屋は広々使わせていただきました！ しかしお部屋の消臭スプレー？消毒薬？芳香剤臭が強く、私には苦手な匂いで滞在中不快で残念でした。 お目当ての大浴場とサウナは、時間帯が良かったのか貸切状態で、とてものんびりと4セット入ることができしました！

ふくい桜マラソンの帰りに宿泊しましたが、スタッフの方々の対応がとても優しく居心地良かったです。また、温泉も気持ち良く、すべてにおいて高水準の宿でした。また利用したいです。

一番残念なのは湖の眺めです。隣のホテル取り壊し中、中庭ボロボロ、露天風呂からは何も見えない。噴水はあがらない。ウキウキ弁天は、入場できない。 今の片山津温泉は、お客さんを受け入れる状態ではないようです。秋田さんのお料理、ほぼ源泉の泉質だけは素晴らしい。今は時期が悪いようです。

建物は年季が入ってますが、リニューアルされて清潔感があります。特に大浴場と食堂は、おしゃれです。 人気の食事がとても満足しました。量、質ともに充実しており、何食べても美味しかったです。食事に関してはここ数年間で訪れた温泉旅館でも最も良かったです。日本酒飲み放題が、色々と飲み比べできたのも良かった。

源泉掛け流しの大浴場は大変満足できるものでした。日替わりの男湯、女湯それぞれの浴場は清潔で広さもあり快適です。露天風呂も洗練された良いデザインでとても気に入りました。 建屋、客室は若干古さがあるものの清潔でスタイルも良く満足できるものです。個室に露天風呂がついているのも良いと思います。 現在旅館はリニューアル工事中で来春の完成後には是非また訪れたいと思います。
