"There was no balcony but the ocean viewing I expected . Not the facilities fault but Expedia on describing the room. No spices in the kitchen. Kitchen lacked items needed. One pkg of coffee?? Staff was very nice at front desk."

"Amazing beach access. The Maui Brewing company on site is a great dining option and reasonably priced. Lots of shady spots and recliners all around the resort to beat the Maui sun."

"Staff was amazing and very friendly , they made everything clear and were very attentive to every need. Definitely going to visit again in the near future."

"Nice property. Staff is excellent!"

"Do not book ocean view property, it does not have ocean view at all and the property is well aware of this. It is convenient location by the beach, rooms are large, have space with kitchenette etc so allow you to eat in. The property felt tired as you get into the rooms, amenities were much better up-kept."

"Un poco viejo, resort grande, muy bien ubicado y tiene el plus de los suites con cocina y dos cuartos que son buena opción para viajes en familia."

"Exceptional per usual! We love staying at the Whaler, the condo option is great for families that aren’t trying to eat out each meal and it’s in a great location by Black Rock for snorkeling, plenty of restaraunt options and next door to Whalers Village for plenty of shopping options."

"Pros: The unit! Cable TV like CNBC & Bloomberg, ice machine, pool noodles/snorkel gear, cantenes for day trips, high end kitchen applances and supplies, good mattress. Cons: Undisclosed fees I was asked to pay upon checkin even when I messaged hotel/mgmt/owner? on Expedia platform weeks before to doublecheck and was told no additional $! It should clearly state "pay at property $xx amount" like my other expedia bookings. Expedia resolved it after escalation."

"It’s walking distance to the beach."

"Place was very clean, extremely happy."

"This Hilton is fine, but it feels old. For several days of our stay, the elevator from our floor would not go down - we had to ride up to go down. Our bathroom sink began leaking and created a flood on the floor. We were only allowed one house cleaning service during the week we stayed. Upon check out, when asked how our stay was, we conveyed that is was just so-so and no effort was made to ask what went wrong, or what they could do for us. We will not be back."
