Site of former Johnshaven station, 2002. View eastward from New Road bridge, towards Inverbervie: ex-NBR Montrose - Inverbervie branch. The station was probably behind me: it and the line (parallel to Back Road) were closed to passengers 1/10/51, to goods not until 23/5/66. The track-bed seems to have been restored for recreational purposes.
Balandro Farm Above Johnshaven on the edge of the road is balandro.
Beach near Johnshaven. Near the bushes on the left is the Narrows lime kiln
