Cristina Hotel

"Hotel Christina has character, stunning views and offers comfort and relaxation. Because of varying reviews we were unsure what to expect when we arrived, however from our first arrival in reception to our late departure the Reception Staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. They looked our cases as we were wanting to store them on our early arrival and while we enjoyed our last day before our evening flight. The room was very well looked after by friendly staff and it wasn’t as small or as hot as some reviews had reported. We don’t have air con at home so don’t expect it in hotels in the British Isles. The view from all the rooms is beautiful and the restaurant and breakfast rooms have the very best outlook with a lovely terrace. We enjoyed the high quality food which was presented well. The Asian beef salad is particularly good. On the fish dishes the portions are on the small side but have lovely flavours. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool is well kept and there is enough space to rest and relax. I know Jersey very well coming here most years of my life usually staying with relatives but as a first experience of a hotel stay in Jersey I would highly recommend and will definitely return."

"Although we enjoyed our stay here there a few things could be improved on. Our room was comfortable with a kettle, safe and refrigerator. It was clean but the furniture was scuffed and the carpet had a few stains. The sofa was also a bit worn. The bathroom was really nice including clean towels every day. We had dressing gowns but no slippers? We had upgraded to include a sitting room which we never used as we were out most of the time. The public areas are very clean and impressive. Breakfast was good, hot and lots of choice. The restaurant and bar were also good. Music there some evenings. All the staff were helpful and polite. It is on a main road,opposite the fire station, about half a mile out of the main area but there is a bus stop opposite the hotel."

"Immaculate hotel and the staff were always courteous and helpful. Ideally situated for us in the heart of the St Helier, near the marina, bus station and ferry ports. The breakfast was extensive and the evening buffet excellent and good value for residents at £32 per head."

"I enjoyed my 2-night stay here as a solo traveller. Located a very easy stroll into the town. Clean and spacious room, excellent breakfast and value for money dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good shower, good bed, what's more to ask for."
