"The property description on Expedia is incorrect. This tea house does not offer rooms with private bathrooms. Their nicest rooms offer an attached squat toilet with a bucket of water. There is no sink and no shower in the “private bathroom.” The advertised “hot shower” is a communal hot shower next to the dining room. The western toilet and sinks are also communal. Godavari Village Resort

Godavari Village Resort

10/10 Excellent
"At first, I was a little hesitant about booking Godavari Resort because I had come across some not so great reviews. But honestly, I was pleasantly surprised and ended up having such a wonderful experience! I accidentally booked the wrong dates and contacted Expedia right away, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to help me. I then reached out to the hotel directly, and they were able to sort out the date issue fairly quickly. Mr. Lama at the front desk was especially helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. I booked the stay for four people, and all of us truly enjoyed our time there. The food was great, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the views were absolutely beautiful. The whole experience was much better than I expected, and I’m really glad I decided to give this place a chance. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to coming back to Godavari Resort on my next visit to Nepal!"
