On arrival we were greeted by the manager Tony who was great throughout the trip. The check-in was hassle free. The property is nice and upgraded. There is minor renovations going on but without any inconvenience to guests. The resort was very private and feels like you have the entire staff and property all to yourself with minimal visibility of other guests except for the dining area. The reviews on this place did not serve it justice! I was blown away at the amenities that were not mentioned. When you arrive you are greeted with a welcome drink and cleansing towel. There is a restaurant on site and you basically get a concierge that you can message whenever you need something. They even provide a grocery list of things they can shop for you and will do your laundry (both for a fee). Shuttle to sister hotel to go to the beach was a good plus (no fee). Staff was...

The room in the wilderness

I have loved staying here. I have stayed 8 nights and enjoyed every moment. A calm, peaceful place that feels like home, just a minute walk from the gorgeous beach. This place is family run and it has been lovely interacting with them every day. The staff is very helpful and kind, they have quickly become friends to me. Would come back any time.

We could only stay one night. For sure next time we'll book for more. We had a room on the first floor viewing the swimming pool side (not the garden) and the sea. Everything was perfect : the decoration, the room, the team, the food.

Lovely resort for R&R after our safari. They arranged a taxi to and from the airport which was extremely helpful. They even arranged one for us in Dar es Salaam which was a huge stress reliever. Wow if I told about everything amazing about the Nur beach hotel 1500 characters would not be enought. Its an amazing new hotel (July 2015) with 10 bungalows. It has a great swimming pool in the middle of it with an amazing view on in my opinion the best beach in Zanzibar. Rooms get cleaned everyday, you get also beach towels. I have just returned from a seven day holiday in Zanzibar and can positively say that Sea View Lodge Boutique Hotel was excellent. Upon arrival we were instantly made to feel welcome by all staff. Our family had an amazing time at this property. The staff was always engaged and friendly. Quiet and peaceful area. 1 minute walk to beach and to numerous places to eat. We ate dinner at a different type of cuisine each night. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast made to order whenever we arrived. Gym and spa available. Staff always eager to give advice and just ask how our day is going and if we need anything. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Meliks! We stayed for two nights, and Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. lovely beach resort with nice pool. Staff is very helpful and attentive. perfect location for long beach walks away from the crowds. WiFi was working well as well as the AC. wish to be back one day :)
