"The breakfast buffet was just ok. Some of the fruit was rotten, specifically the watermelon was almost soup. I can not understand the reasoning why any staff member would put this out for consumption. It makes you wonder what the standards are in the kitchen. That said, the rest of the breakfast was good. Service was slow but courteous. There was only one server for most of the service and he was doing his best. The dinner experience was better. Food was great and the venue is stunning. I asked the front desk staff about the hiking/walking trails that clearly dotted the immediate area. They had no maps, or information which I thought was odd as this should be considered a sought after activity. I simply wondered off on my own using Google maps and found amazing trails and vistas. We were there in April and the pool was understandably closed but so was the surrounding area wich was too bad as from our room it looked like it would have been a lovely spot to sit in the afternoon sun. I know that this review sounds negative however these are simple things that could be addressed to improve the overall guest experience. All in all I would still highly recommend this venue as a must experience. Rooms and venue were very clean, parking was tight but acceptable. I would go back and recommend it for others."
"The hotel was clean and provided everything that was required, including an underground secure car park. The breakfast was good.
They did not do lunch or dinner, but did have a coffee bar which provided light meals all day."
"Great location, close to the cathedral and less than 10 minutes from the bus station. Nearby bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Hotel public areas are very nice but our room was very tired, although very clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast ok if you just like versions of bread, nothing much else on offer. "
"This was by far one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff asked for credit card numbed over WhatsApp before I even arrived. Nobody told me there wouldn’t be hot water until I found out myself and asking, the room was disgusting, smelled of smoke, trash and standing water in the shower from the previous guest. Somehow the room was blistering hot despite it being December and the AC didn’t work. "
"Beautifully appointed city Hotel, Immaculate, clean and very quiet and peaceful. If you love art, sculptures and anything old and antique you will feel right at home.
Rooms and suites are luxurious with outstanding fixings and fixtures, all with a modern touch to technology too, great slimline TV, USB sockets etc.
Restaurant was spectacular for Dinner and Breakfast.
Recommend reserving parking only 6 doors down street although there is paid underground parking opposite their private parking garage."
