Very friendly staff and nice private apartments in charming area very close to Taksim Square. Highly recommended! A taste of real traditonal Istanbul neighbourhood but with everything next door.

Nice property , the owner owns more than one building you get a choice , where i stayed was good i was treated very good from all the staff, specially from Batu, he helped me alot, showing me around , next time i go to Istanbul that is the place i will recommend to anybody, thank you aga to Batu he was very kind to help me with suitcase, i wanted to tip but my driver came to go at airport he was rushing and i fory to tip Batu but next time imake sure i will tip him in advance

Massive bed bug and roach infestation as noted by photos in other posts. Staff seem utterly unconcerned. "Just how it is." It is a shame as the location is fantastic and the units could be good. But there was a kitchen but no supplies (I presume to discourage cooking to decrease the roaches, unsuccessfully). Floor was utterly full of gooey, sticky stuff, I later realized was likely insecticide that obviously, the bedbugs and roaches were just munching down. I have no idea how this place got a 9 rating but this is OBVIOUSLY some kind of scam.

Room in different building.

Arrived and price was a little more than hotels.com said it like be. Room was located a block away in a different building than the main lobby. Taksim had a lot of nice areas but the streets around the hotel are a little sketchy.

First apartment we got (and booked) was dirty and not in good condition. The staff was great and gave us a new room for the rest of the stay. Second apartment was much better, not great condition but at least clean. Ok for the price but with a bit of effort could be much better. Location is good and felt safe.
