"The Woodlands was a beautiful stay. I loved the surrounding wild life and peacefulness about it. Staff were wonderful and went out of their way to support me, being I am disabled and require a stick to walk. The bed was extremely comfortable, clean & fresh. Nice hot showers. Breakfast was excellent and catered to my tastes. Overall I would recommend the Woodlands if your looking for a stay that offers peaceful space, nature and a very warm welcome. I will certainly be returning next year when...

"Sehr schönes kleines Inn direkt am Fluss, sehr schönes, sauberes, klimatisiertes Zimmer. Sehr ruhig und alles ist landläufig gut zu erreichen. Das Parken war zum Teil etwas schwierig ( am Bahnhof kostenpflichtig, die kostenlosen Parkplätze es weiter entfernt )."

"Tv was a nightmare! Huge screen but on Tuesday I couldn’t turn it off or mute it so had a terrible night. Emergency phone number didn’t respond. After new batteries it still wasn’t working properly. Needs a technician. I’m an elderly solo guest so really missed the tv. I have requested some financial compensation."

"Nyton Hotel was welcoming, staff helpful, very clean, comfy beds, Oldy Worldy, excellent breakfast and I would definitely stay again. Easy walk to town when coming out of Nyton and turn right."

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"It would be easy to mention a few negatives....but I'm not going to as staff dealt with these rather well. Huge praise for the young lady (Bob) who appears to single-handedly run the bar, restaurant, & hotel reservations. Food was very good, so compliments to the chef. We would certainly return."

"The room was excellent. Bedroom, small area with easy chairs and kitchen units between bedroom and bathroom. all beatifully maintained. As there was no restaurant or breakfast provided, the kitchen could be useful,for self catering. but every drawer empty so bring your own equipment. There was a vending machine in the barn for food."

"This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."
