"The room was nice and clean, the ice cream shop is pretty picturesque and the workers friendly! The stairs are extremely loud and creaky so there’s no sneaking outside for what you forgot to smoke or grab from the car lol there’s nothing to do in town but it’s still a nice place to land for the night before heading off to mammoth cave the next day!"

"While I booked the reservation, upon arrival I walked in, saw the dark and filthy sights, smelled the rank air, and experienced one of the utmost, fraudulent ads for an accommodation ever in my experience with VRBO. In short, I simply could not stay in, what I would say, is a dangerous, unhealthy rental. Do yourself a favor…stay out! I called VRBO and pulled the plug. "

"This place is perfect, it was clean, relaxing, kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, the view was great and the walk to the water was a gradual walk down, no steps other than on back deck. Easy check-in and checkout. It’s just a short drive from the State lodge and Little Dave’s Restaurant. We had a wonderful relaxing mini vacation, it was perfect!! Thanks so much!!"
