The Gable Dingle

"Hotel is very well situated near good restaurants, pub and music. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was very small with barely room for our not large bags. As with many hotels in Europe/UK and even the US, there is little room for luggage so it is frustrating having to step around luggage on the floor. Often for two travelers, two luggage racks and room to set them up would be great. We had a room with a bathtub/shower combo. The floor was very very slippery so we mentioned to staff that they could use some kind of mat in the bathtub. It was nice to access my Netflix when we were in the room at night. There is a coffee/snack bar attached to the hotel which closes in the afternoon. There is no lobby to socialize in in the evening if you don't want to be at a pub. For travelers who want to be by the water, this is a little walk away. All in all a good experience although I would have preferrred a somewhat larger room."

"Lovely property. Right on the water. Just outside of town. Easily walkable to shops and pubs. Quaint. Fully appointed. Historic and rightly furnished. Beautiful water view from upstairs bedroom. Slea head drive one of the best spots Ireland. Wish we could have spent two more days here in area and at property."

"Emlagh house is a gorgeous spacious home. Beautifully curated. Exceptional staff. Warm friendly helpful. It has a fantastic location with hikes or town within an easy walk. Scruptious breakfast with tea or coffee available all day.We will definitely be returning!"

"I had the pleasure to stay at this quaint little B & B last night and I would definitely visit again! The hosts were extremely helpful and the room that I had was perfect for me but also would have been great if my husband was traveling with me too. The location was absolutely perfect for an easy walk to dinner followed by an ice cream and a walk along the water front before dinner. The property is 170 years old and it was fabulous!"
