"Everything was as listed….the log burner was an added feature which we were happy to use on rainy days. The location was really goid… Colchester close and historically very interesting. North of the city was Constable country… nice walks and interesting info on the artists. South we enjoyed Tiptree museum, and the Salt marshes for walking and photography. "The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. We had everything we needed. Location is peaceful and idyllic on the lake and is really easy to get to. We felt safe and secure behind the gates. The bed was super comfortable and the house was super clean. "Lovely cottage, very clean, warm & cosy. Nice welcome pack on arrival, bread, butter, tea, coffee, OJ, milk, etc. Nice size secure garden for my two dogs. A little confusing to find at first, postcode stops you further down the road but the instructions from owner how to carry on are quite clear.Only downside for me was it being on a fairly busy country road, not mentioned in the listing, so it wasn't possible to take my dogs for just a local walk in the area and nearest dog walking area was 3...

"The cottage was beautiful, well equipped, comfy, cosy, well situated and an absolute gem! Go no further than Frinton Escapes! My first time and the cottage was ideal. Close to ALL amenities in a close, so quiet but everything on its doorstep. Great history behind it too. If you do t go, you will be the loser! "
