"A standard, relatively inexpensive hotel. Nothing great, nothing too terrible.
The family and I made this injury our first stop on a 12-day road trip and it served it's purpose for one night.
The pool, I'm told, was on the cool side, I'd guess 70 - 72 degrees. Hot tub was fine.
Breakfast was what you'd expect for a free hotel breakfast. One thing kinda cool about breakfast was what I'll call a pancake printing machine - just hit the button and it'll spurt out two pancakes and cooks them both (one at a time) in about a minute.
One negative thing: the info book in our room clearly had something spilled on it at some point in the past. It wasn't sticky or anything, but blurry and... mildewy? Gross, to be sure, but nothing else stood out about the room, which again was average or maybe a touch better than average.
Would stay again, but would also consider seeing what else was around and priced similarly, if we wound up back in Cedar Rapids."
