Booked this hotel due to an early flight the next day. Exterior of the building was boarded up from a recent shooting. Inside needs a renovation. Beautiful Cora Cottage on Fox Lake/Chain O'Lakes with 40 Ft. Private Boat Pier.
We had a very nice and relaxing weekend. The house was beautiful and the view of the lake was spectacular. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and then some. Too many rules-can't use windowsills, $10 fee for unreturned key cards? Place was filthy dust caked on counters. Constant, mandatory "safety inspections" so they'll barge into your room with barely any notice. Place is cheap but there are other hotels with equally low prices with less B S
