Wonderful staff (really helped me in a pinch), very comfortable and spacious room, My view of the river was through dirty-ish windows and pigeon poop on ledges, so not as quaint as one would hope but that is super minor and everything else was perfect. Location was excellent.
Onsite parking (with fee) was very convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, out of a lot of food options and understaffed, but otherwise great stay.
The perfect stop for a quick stay. We had 3 short nights but we were so close to everything we wanted to do! Staff was amazingly sweet and helpful and were quick to help us with anything we needed! Would stay again!
Polite staff, although had to wait a bit for someone to arrive to check me in after ringing the buzzer. I was in no rush so it wasn’t a big deal. They were also helpful when I needed to utilize their baggage storage when my return train was a few hours after check out.
I appreciated the convenience of the location and having a restaurant on the premises.
The room was no frills but clean and spacious enough for our family of three. We are happy with our experience!

The hotel was in a solid location to be able to walk around. Overall our stay was fine.
There isn’t a traditional front desk and sometimes you have to wait a while for help. They don’t have enough parking spaces for the number of rooms and, despite having to pay 16 GBP per day, you may not find one. The mattresses weren’t the worst I’ve slept on but seemed to be cheap and in need of replacement. For booking a premier room at a mid-grade hotel I expected a bit more.
Great location in Inverness. Beautiful views of the lighted castle from the hotel. So convenient to explore the Museum, Victoria Market, the Castle, and the Riverwalk. We had four families [and 7 children] in our group, so it was 2 minutes away from a laundromat and a grocery. Breakfasts were great. We appreciated the air-conditioning. One noticeable aspect is that they would do well to paint the peeling paint on the exterior. Recommend for comfort, breakfast and proximity.
I liked the location the most, but the overall property needs to be updated and cleaned up. Especially the front entrance and garage had garbage on the ground. The room was spacious and we had a nice view of the river, however the windows had cobwebs and we found a couple of dead bugs.
The breakfast was good and convenient.
The stairwell and lobby could stand to be cleaned up and refreshed, the carpet is dirty and smells musty.
There were 8 of us, and we had 4 rooms. They did put us next to each other, which was nice.
Overall it was just ok.
Staff was great and helped with everything and answered all questions. The breakfast was great. The rooms were small but for couple of nights it is ok.
You couldn’t ask for a better staff. The room and location of the hotel is prefect for a pub walk. And to see the sites too.

The location was perfect but the room was not clean. Our shower head was covered in mold and the carpet was filthy. It was also super hot b/c there is no AC and the window only cracks the slighted bit. The beds were comfy after a long day of being a tourist and we had a beautiful view of the Inverness Castle so there were not all negatives but we would not stay here again. Also- no washcloths.
