Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Big and clean room. Sparsely decorated with generic furniture. Would have been nice with a bit more decor/personality in the room. Friendly and kind staff

I have provided direct feedback to the manager. The WiFi was extremely poor and there was no temperature adjustments to room
, for warm or cold . I found the location good and parking for car was good. There was no follow up on my stay and early questions sent through Expedia were unanswered until after we left .
I would expect more at the price point …
Good location, close enough to walk to castle and town. Other guests behaviour was a problem during my stay. On the last night was kept awake for several hours with shouting, laughing, going in and out of rooms and banging doors. When reported to management the next day, they claimed to have called the police the night before, but that wouldn't explain why it went on over 3 hours. It also wouldn't explain why it started up again between 6am and 9am, where other guests were overly rowdy in leaving their rooms and exiting the property.
I asked for 1 night refund for only getting a few hours sleep which the management have denied. The big chains offer this if you dont get a good night's sleep.
I would recommend to avoid this hotel if you like quiet and peace. The old nature of the building, with walls that are not sound proof and old corridors that creak and doors that bang loudly, contribute to there being lots of noise.
Given the nightly rate is very expensive as well, the overall experience is not value for money.
The nearby premier Inn offers better protection from other guests behaviour. Of course people want to enjoy being on holiday, but there was an obnoxious feel to other guests behaviour during my stay, which the management were not on top of.
Inverness is a lovely place, but my stay here soured what was a really great trip.
This place is just a notch above a hostel. Only difference is you have a private room and bathroom. One key per room, no matter how many people are in the room. Refrigerator is located in the management office which is locked up most of the evening. Microwave is in a bottom floor lounge that is locked clearly evening and not unlocked until 10am. TV in rooms only work for streaming if you have an account with the streaming service. No elevator/lift at all.
They’ve put a lot of work into this place to make it a hotel and it looks good but it is lacking in amenities.
The property was located about 10 minutes from train station-very convenient.
The room was small but very clean. Housekeeping came in daily.
The one concern was the hot water which very hot. Possibility of scalding if not careful.
Reception only open limited hours. Parking advertised for free but actually charged £8/day (which felt like robbery considered the space they have and when they initially advised we could park for free in the streets, these are all for permit holders).
The Bank House was tucked away in a neighborhood. Not your typical hotel accommodation. Kind of a cross between a hotel and AirBnB. Private parking available.
Upon arrival, had to ring the bell for someone to greet you and let you in. This and checkout were really the only times we had contact with staff.
Room was quite large and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. One of the most during our 12 day stay in Scotland.
Bathroom with plenty of room. However, the toilet required a below parallel squat to get to and a Russian twist to access the toilet paper.😂
Parking was 8£ per day. Please just roll this into the price of the room.
Overall, would absolutely consider staying here again.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
This is not a hotel. It’s a house that they made into a hotel and they do not want to be in the hotel business at all.
Furniture is crap put together from a thrift store.
A green light stays on all night above the door and it’s bright
Skip this place
8 lbs to pass k your car on property??? Rip off.
No fridge
No ice
No pictures on the wall.
Very Indian I’m surprised I did not smell curry in the air
Personalen väldigt tillmötesgående, enstaka hårstrån i badrummet - i övrigt väldigt rent. Bästa duschen jag haft på något hotellrum/guesthouse någonsin.
