"To start with, it's an ideal location for visiting Edinburgh's historic district. With much within walking distance getting to see this beautiful city was easy. The hotel, as an anchor point was ideal. Service levels were, as one would expect from a premium brand, superb. From the concierge and the entire support team, through the front desk staff attending to guests' needs and inquiries, to the staff in the hotel's Eve restaurant, who provided an excellent level of attention. (I can't speak for the other restaurant as we did not have the opportunity to patronise that establishment.) I will gladly return to this hotel in the future. "

"breakfast and dinner were beautifully prepared, and service was impeccable. staff helpful — however — I booked a “double standard room”. with translates into one double bed — the staff realized our confusion, and in some cases they can split a a king into 2 twins. Inventory was low, they could not do the split, and my friend and had to sleep in the same bed — they brought us separate duvets - but we were together. not the greatest for 2 single ladies “out on the town""

"Very comfortable room with excellent beds and nice pillows. Our only small gripe was it was a little chilly in the evenings, but boiling at night! It looked like the temperature was centrally controlled as we couldn’t adjust it. The hotel happy hour between 5 and 6 with complimentary drinks was fabulous and the staff so friendly! "
