"A lovely B&B, the room was beautifully clean & well equipped, nice touches like fresh milk, sweet treats & bedside phone chargers which was really useful. The breakfast was amazing, locally sourced meat from the Butcher with some of the nicest black pudding I have tasted. "This hotel is lovely. We stayed as a family of 3 and our room was big and spacious. The room was extremely clean and appeared to have been modernised recently. The shower was excellent! Although the curtains in the room were fine, they were not attached properly to the curtain rings and pole therefore looked a bit messy, however, not a huge issue for us. Very friendly staff for the most part, although one of the ladies that served us at the bar wasn't very sociable and didn't seem to have much patience. Bar area was lovely, however, there were a couple of guests who were sat outside and kept coming in and out thought the fire escape door, leaving it ajar so they could do this. We were therefore not able to enjoy a relaxing drink as the midgies kept flying in. The pool also isn't great and the steam room wasn't working during our stay. Apart from that, the hotel is lovely and we would definitely stay here again. Cosy, clean, and our evening meal in the restaurant was top notch 👌 great breakfast too."
