I thought that being beside the train station, there would be noise, but only when we opened the windows. "

"My stay in Yokkaichi Miyako Hotel is always pleasant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, andsmelled nice, always a bonus! I especially was pleased to see the water machine on each floor, free to guests. Just another perk to staying at the Miyako!"

"Brand new property. Parking available for a charge (limited spaces). Onsen on property, very nice with sauna and cold bath. Beds are firm but comfortable. Breakfast with an additional charge. Japanese style breakfast, so skip if you want western style."

"The staff was very helpful especially for checking on whether places were open and on obtaining a taxi. The rooms lack places to put your clothes and lack suitcases stands so one must plan to use the limited supply of hangars and live out of a suitcase. The showers are handheld so one might instead plan to use the open facilities and hot baths. The food was excellent and help is available everywhere."

"Fantastic stay in this onsen style ryokan. Had a wonderful private onsen in our room, overlooking the river and the lake beyond. Can’t ask for a more perfect experience. Waking up early to soak in our private room onsen before dressing and heading down for the Japanese style breakfast included."
