Darcys Hotel at Homebush

"We booked 2 rooms for 4 people. Information about arrival was very poor. We had been given a number to call on arrival, or told to knock on the front door. On arrival we phoned the number we had been given, but no answer. There was a phone number to ring at the front door, but that only gave us the number we already had. Luckily someone staying at the property assisted us and showed us where to find keys to our rooms. We would have appreciated that information prior to arrival. Air conditioner remote not working in one of the rooms, but luckily the remote from our friend's room worked. No plug for wash basin, (to shave) or hair dryer, so borrowed them from friend's room. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds."

Haberfield Hotel
8/10 Good
"Excellent property however don’t expect a traditional continental breakfast. Toast and cereal. Only full cream milk no alternatives. Had to wait quite a while for a kettle to boil for a cup of tea. Was not a commercial kettle. Keeping costs down however a little more variety such as the milk issue would be more accommodating. I couldn’t eat any of the breakfast unfortunately."
