"The receptionist was friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, both morning and night. Check-in was completely stress-free. We were asked to pay either a €50 deposit or a one-off €6 tourist tax. The hotel amenities are excellent. The sauna is great, and the pool is high-quality and very well maintained. However, the highlight for us was the breakfast. I highly recommend booking breakfast with your room. After hiking for two days, having fresh fruit, fresh juices, salmon, eggs, sausages, and such a wide range of high-quality options was exactly what we needed. Highly recommended."

"The staff here were kind, informed and eager to help. The breakfast buffet was very impressive, especially the locally made items! The hotel was immaculately clean, comfortable and the air conditioning was fabulous. The location is steps away from the charming old town. We would stay here again."

"Chambre très confortable et spacieuse. Petit déjeuner en buffet avec un choix incroyable pour plaire à tous. Personnel sympathique. Dans la zone piétone, donc vraiment pratique pour aller explorer Ljubljana à pieds. Le resto de l'hôtel offre de très beaux et bons repas aussi. Très pratique et agréable."

"The building is in central Trieste and easy to get to/from the train station. There is an Aldi three blocks away. The apartment was spacious and clean. Furnishings and supplies are minimal but perfectly fine. I couldn't get the wifi to work very well. It was always slow and sometimes intermittent. I also couldn't figure out the washing machine. There is only a front desk person available until 2 p.m."
