"There was the University across the street. A few restaurants and fast food close by. The Museum of Clean was only a couple blocks away. The outside was very rough with windows open, curtains wonky. Inside the room, chunks of molding was missing, walls were patched but not painted. The bedding and towels were clean. You could hear talking from the connecting room even with all doors closed and locked. "

"Hotel definitely requires some upkeep. Furnishings, building and grounds are pretty beat up. Went to the hotel's bar for a drink the evening of 4/2, and found two drunk twenty-somethings being loud, profane and obnoxious at the bar, one of whom said that they were there pretty much every night and were regulars. Made us really think that we should leave, but thought they wouldn't bother us if we ignored them. This was a miscalculation - one of them staggered over to our table and tried to talk me into playing pool, and his counterpart did the same with another customer at the bar, who also declined. No one staying at a hotel and wanting a nightcap should have to deal with that at a hotel, and indicates that management is either asleep at the wheel or doesn't care. "
