"I stay at this property multiple times per year and have done so for many years, and normally always have a very positive experience. The hotel seemed fairly full this past weekend and the room rate was a lot higher than I normally pay, but I guess it's just a matter of supply and demand. The first room I checked into I quickly discovered that the A/C didn't work, so I had to go to the front desk and swap out keys for another room, and fortunately one was available."

Breakfast--good variety but so much waste! Does every cup have to be wrapped in plastic? Do the utensils have to be flimsy plastic? They won't even spread butter. The breakfast staff don't speak to the patrons or ask if everything is okay. Little things.
The reception desk staff could be more attentive and could show more interest. Sometimes they don't even look up. For example, a conversation like "are you here for the operas?" But the experience varied depending on...
