"My family had a great stay at this adorable country home. Laurel is a wonderful and thoughtful host- even leaving fresh cookies. The home is very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our Humboldt County visit. Loved the cows, too! Thank you!"

"Good sized room. Lots of bedding and more for chilly nights. Tiny bathroom. I am small so it worked for me. If I weighed 20 pounds more I would have struggled. The house is very quiet as is the neighborhood which is perfect for a traveler like me."

"This home was wonderful for our stay. We had one in our party in a wheelchair and it was a little tricky getting in and out of the house and bathroom, but doable- just in case anyone is wondering. But we had a great time staying here and loved that it was walking distance from the Sequoia Park Zoo."

"This little cottage was adorable and I wish we could have had a little longer stay but we were up and exploring most of the time. Great location for a Redwoods visit. The property was clean, the alpaca was super cute and overall unbothered by our presence. The only thing we found a little tricky was knowing which gate to enter the cottage threw, we were unsure if opening up and walking through the alpaca enclosure was the right way to go so just a little more description in the check in...

"Great and serene location away from the usual hustle and bustle of the city. The property was easily one of the most unique experiences, apparently they’re newer to VRBO so setting up and arriving was clunky at first but as soon as I made contact with the host Michaela, it was smooth sailing from there and things were not confusing. Check in and out were clear! Cozy place and there was a bevy of things to do close by, an excellent North Star if you’re visiting Humboldt County for the first time!...

"It's such a cute place and we enjoyed our stay. Would 100% stay again!"

"The bed was VERY comfortable. It allows pets. Plenty of beautiful landscaping. Pretty quiet. Will be booking again."

"Came for a short visit and found everything I needed in one spot. Clean rooms and attentive staff were definite pluses!"

"Unique place that had all the comforts of home. Quiet at nights and centrally located to places to eat and shop."

"Great place to stay! Quiet, safe neighborhood with beautiful homes all around. (We love looking at historical homes and neighborhoods.) The rental itself was sparkling clean, well-appointed with everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and the WiFi worked great. I highly recommend this home and would happily stay here again."
