"The hotel is conveniently located in the harbor. It is a short walk to Little Italy, Hard Rock, and Shirley's Diner. The walk to the Oriole's stadium takes about 20 minutes. It is an easy walk but not the safest later in the evening hours. Daily paid parking is adjacent to the hotel for convenience. This hotel was likely "high-end" years ago especially with Ruth's Chris and McCormick and Schmick's (sp) restaurants located in the hotel. However, the hotel is starting to show its' age."

"We were able to book this hotel at the last minute after having a very poor experience at another property, and the staff here was incredibly accommodating and welcoming from the start. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful, and made a stressful situation much easier for us. The hotel itself did have a few things that could use improvement. Of the several ice machines, only one seemed to be working, which was a little inconvenient. The pool was also disappointing because although the hotel advertises having a pool, it looked like it had not been used or maintained in quite some time. That being said, the staff was so kind, professional, and accommodating in every other aspect that I do not feel those issues outweigh the overall experience. They helped us when we really needed somewhere to stay, treated us well, and made us feel welcome. I would still recommend this hotel, especially because of the customer service, and I hope management addresses the maintenance issues because the staff deserves a property that matches the level of service they provide."
