"Awesome atelier-like apartment up under the roof in a quiet side street 100 m from the train station in Holstebro. It almost feels like Montmartre in Paris. Almost 😅. The apartment has been remodeled and modernized and is generally brand new. Really really nice and hyggelig. "A unique and very Scandinavian experience. I felt genuinely welcomed and even if only very briefly, a part of the community here. Cosy wooden cabins (hyttes) in the grounds of the local community hall, which seems to be a hub of this community. A lovely counter to big hotels and beautifully maintained and cared for. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are in the community hall, 50 metres away, so it’s more like glamping than an hotel stay, but if you don’t mind that it’s wonderful. A great budget option and a million times better than your typical ‘budget hotel’ chains, for less than half the price."

"I traveled for business purposes so I did not used all the available resources in the hotel but I had a very good breakfast in the hotel. The staff was very helpful and explained to me where I can find the breakfast room, my room, Wi-Fi password and answered all my questions. I stayed in the new renovated room so if you are going to be locked in one of them the shower will turn with a few minutes delay which is normal so be patient. There is lactose free milk for breakfast too. I do recommend the hotel very much."
