"This was a quiet and quaint place along the Erie Lake. Don’t look for a gym or spa / sauna, but they did have an outdoor swimming pool. Lots of trees and a great view of the lake"
"Beautiful place along Lake Erie. Love that it's in the water. Fun bar next door. Lots of places to walk or benches/swings to sit and enjoy the views. The sunset in the swimming cove was lovely. Nickel Beach down the road was nice ($7 parking) and cleaner than the beach by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in Sandusky which is 11 minutes away. Typical breakfast, clean room and extremely comfy beds. Worth the stop!"
"Decent hotel. Standard experience. Check in was smooth.
Biggest complaint was the shower drain was clogged. It drained but took 20 minutes. We had 3 people who desperately wanted to shower after spending 12 hours in the heat at Cedar Point. We were all gross and sweaty and looking forward to the shower more than anything. We had to wait for it to drain so we weren’t standing in each other’s dirty water. If the shower drain thing didn’t happen, I would’ve had a much better experience.
