Cottages in Huntingdonshire

"My wife and I loved staying at Home Farm Cottage. It was lovely and clean and although small, was nice and cosy with sufficient space and facilities to comfortably accommodate two people. The views of the surrounding countryside was spectacular and added to a very relaxing stay to help recharge our batteries! The property is located right next to two lakes with a caravan site at the far end. If you are thinking of fishing, the near lake is too easy as it has a large stock of very hungry carp...

"Very well positioned for walking access to shops, restaurants and sights. Easy parking outside the property."

"Good stay, van definitely showing its age. In need of repair in places. Little park outside. We didn’t use as no kids of relevant age. Water between the van and the park so would have concerned me if booked with that in view. Mostly clean with everything you need. If not a bit overpriced. It was bank holiday and the park was a sell out, so I’m sure that’s why. Bands for activities on the park paid for additionally so another cost to bear in mind. Communication from host and check in...

"A very comfortable cottage. Excellent enclosed garden if you have a dog and great walks within 200 yards of the cottage to the 'deeps' or beyond to at least two longer distance paths. Stamford is ten minutes away and if yoir visiting family in the area its a great base with good road links. We had our break at half term (February) the cottage is well heated with a log burning fire!....we bought extra logs from Morrisons in Stamford (about £8 a bag).Bob and Sarah provided a great welcome pack...

"Our warm and gracious hosts welcomed us to their beautiful boutique farm. With easy access to Cambridge, the farm is located in the quaint village of Bourn. Our superb and private lodging was surrounded by the perfect English garden and pond. We hope to return soon!"

"Beautiful apartment, far bigger than the photos suggest. It's tastefully decorated and really well equipped. The host was friendly and helpful. Ten out of ten!"

"Beautiful little cottage in a lovely village with excellent pub/restaurant. Great hosts too! Perfect for 2 days."

"Overall great stay. Nice, quite and secure property. Lovely views after a long day at work, it was nice to unwind with a beer and look over the field watching the sun set every night. Huge comfy leather sofas. Was never bothered by the property owner, but any questions or problem was sorted right away. Hes a genuinly nice man.Would stay again. Couple things to note. Upstairs flooring and stairs very creaky.Could'nt use the oven and 3 hobs at the same time without tripping fuse board. Kitchen...

"Was a cute place to stay really enjoyed it had TV basic cooking facilities and a nice porch for eating. Definitely needs a little bit of love to it but with renovations has potential to be incredible Overall amazing stay thank you very much for having us"

"Great 2 week stay with the family. Well appointed and spacious. Great location, walking distance to Cathedral, pubs, shops and restaurants. A nice mix of modern and traditional interior. Would definitely return. "

"Stephen (the host) was great! Very friendly and welcoming! The room was very cosy, clean, and well equipt. Unfortunately, due to busy work, I was unable to explore the grounds, but I imagine they were lovely. 100% would stay again if working in the area."

"Property is not inhabitable in the heat, we were due to stay during the heatwave and unfortunately as the entire side of the property is glass and how it faces, it gets even warmer in the evening as the sun comes round. We had taken tower fans with us in preparation but unfortunately due to travelling with a very small baby and a toddler we were not able to stay at the property more than a few hours as our baby became distressed in the temperature. Disappointed at the response from the host...

"WOW! What can I say? This place was amazing. Great town. Great people. Easy to navigate to London. The local town is full of history and is beautiful. Thank you very allowing us to stay in your home."
