"The outside was not impressive. Looked old & plain. The inside of the room was old (it used an actual key & there wasn't a USB plug to be found) but it was clean & looked properly maintained. The AC worked well! The bed was too soft for my taste but that's a personal opinion not a knock. I was staying hear for a weekend up at Snowshoe & up on the mountain even the cheapest room would be twice what I paid here. I was not uncomfortable & I'd stay here again. Marlinton is only a few miles down the hill & it's a cool little town with a couple good breakfast joints."

"Property was cleaned and well maintained, golf driving range was nice. There were no amenities available to book, the pool was over crowded and the entire tower was down to 1 elevator. Overall, a good experience but would suggest a non-holiday weekend to visit."

"It is located in the country. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Since it is run by a private family, I would recommend calling ahead if you are going to arrive late. There were walking trails, and farm animals to look at. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean, Breakfast was very good."

"It was easy to check in and go to our room but we arrived late and we were unsure we were in the right place, they should really put a sign in front of the parking. Bed was very hard and noisy when u moved around. Place was decent but not great."

"The cabin was as advertised. Close to Cass Railroad, Snowshoe, Sharps General Store, and Marlinton. Plenty of room for our group. Lots of games for the kiddo. We would definitely return. Host was very responsive ."

"Booked an overnight stay at the last minute and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was friendly and very helpful. A few highlights: - Easy drive to the warm springs - The room (The Loft) was comfortable and charming - Delicious breakfast delivered to the room. Next time we’ll stay longer and have more to report."
The Tannery! Private Dipping Pool In The Warm Springs Stream! Pet Friendly!

"If you love historical American architecture and a opportunity to use your own private warm springs, this is the property! Truly unique. Great location. Having done the Jefferson Pools before, the wading pool through the warm springs in the back yard was amazing. We spent most time outside on the porches which was a special treat to have. Very pet friendly! This is a rural 200 year old home, yet in the heart of Warm Springs, Upstairs more spacious than expected with 2 bedrooms plus a sleeping porch - definitely worth trying. In agreement the sofa could use updating for comfort. We enjoyed our visit 5 stars."
