Skudeløken Apartment Hotel

Skudeløken Apartment Hotel

8/10 Good
"Modern, spacious and very clean apartment. We did not use kitchen but all appliances and dishes seemed very good quality.comfortable beds and clean bathroom. We knew it was close to Road on the map, Road noise was there but didn’t bother us much. The thermostat in the room did not work but again wasn’t a major issue as we turned it off and opened windows briefly to allow cooler air inside the room. Carparking facility was very helpful for us."

Sognefjord Gjesteheim

Sognefjord Gjesteheim

10/10 Excellent
"This is a small guesthouse which is operated by the owners. They are very gracious and welcoming! It's an older building which has been renovated to modern standards. Sits directly across from the waterfront and the ferry dock. The ferries are battery operated and are surprisingly quiet."

Askvoll Fjordhotell

Askvoll Fjordhotell

8/10 Good
"This a modest hotel in a wonderful little town, close to the harbor and “downtown” area. Their restaurant is good but for dinner meals make sure you know how that is functioning during your visit because there are very few places to get a meal and none are open late. Breakfast is great, available daily, with great coffee and buffet style food, awesome bread. It’s very close to the starting point of the Anders Askevold, self-guided walking tour of 11 points of interest; he was a 10th century painter, famous in Norway, and each point of interest tells an interesting story about his life in Askvoll. And the scenery is stunning."

"An old hotel in an amazing location. We weren’t there to hang out but to explore the area. Ideal location for us. The rooms and bathroom are small but adequate for our purpose."

"Ein sehr gut geschnittenes und eingerichtetes Blockhaus. Hundefreundliche Umgebung. Viele Aktivitäten möglich. Wir waren Rad fahren, wandern und paddeln und haben die Ruhe sehr genossen."

10/10 Excellent
"Five stars is not enough for the stone cabin in Ortnevik! The one bedroom cabin is so charming. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals and the bed is comfortable. The property is incredibly beautiful and there are interesting hikes right from the cabin. Just a quick walk away you’ll find an amazing wood sculpture garden that will blow your mind. Eldar was very helpful with check in and with advice on where to hike and walk. The small store in town has limited hours but a surprising amount of supplies for a small place. But if you have the option it is likely best to grocery shop in a larger town before arrival. At the cabin I felt I could be away from it all and see the real Norway. Thank you Eldar for sharing your wonderful property with us"
