"Whilst my room was small, it had all I needed. The highlight was the staff: reception and bar/restaurant staff were excellent. Polite, attentive, efficient. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice. The restaurant menu for dinner was ok but sometimes a wider simpler choice would have been nice."

"This was lovely place to stay - we were in the last two 'legs' of a 1300 mile road trip to Scotland (and back!) - possibly the best, as it matched all our needs for a quiet evening, in a beautifully-appointed, clean ensuite room, and a restful comfortable sleep! Our hosts, Mark & Paula were welcoming (tasty cookies!), quiet and unobtrusive (checking what bed configuration - king or twin - we wanted in advance), serving our preferred choice of tasty breakfasts at our room 's table & chairs....
