3/5 - Okay
Just stopped for an overnight on my way to Cape Breton Nova Scotia. Didn't spend any time in Houlton.

I did not stay for breakfast. I will however talk about the little pub/diner built into the hotel. It is fantastic, well, priced and super convenient for the wesry traveller.

Overall my stay was fine. There is a big difference between the rooms on the right side of the building vs the renovated rooms facing the road. When booking you should request the rooms on the front. Much better, more room, and cleaner.

The dome was great. Peaceful, nice water view, just perfect! Visited town for work, got a little R&R in, I would stay here again!

Though Houlton Regional Hospital might be what brings you to town, perhaps you'll have a chance to explore more of Houlton while you are here.

We visited many of the areas where my mom and aunt grew up, a lovely bakery, Gateway Crossing Bridge near River Rd, went to the cemetary to visit the graves of our loved ones. There is more to Houlton than libraries and golf courses.
Nice town to stay in on the way to or from Canada
Just quickly passing thru. Houlton was just on the way.
We stopped for the night on our way someplace else
very small town with very friendly people
