This rental property was perfect for the six of us. We would have been seven, but one of my wife’s brothers had a sudden illness and could not make it. We were on our annual family reunion and Hot Springs seemed to be the best location to assemble because we were travelling from Ohio, Nebraska, Tennessee, and Texas.
The house is very well maintained. The owner built this house many years ago and still lives in it part of the year. This helps explain why everything is very clean, the kitchen is very complete, and everything works the way it should and is pretty much up to date. The owner claimed to provide all soap, shampoo, and towels, which proved to be an understatement. I have never seen so many different choices for body wash and shampoo, and in such quantity.
It was only a short drive to downtown and all the Hot Springs history, which we avidly took in. The property is in a quiet area which we really appreciated after hitting all the historical spots down town. The trolley tour was fun and informative as was visiting the bath house museum.
Checkout was a dream. We did not have to strip the beds and were told to leave them unmade. We did not have to empty the waste baskets. All we did was take out our garbage. We all were checked out and on our way in record time.
