"This is our second stay at this property. Our family loves it! The view cannot be beat. We love hanging out on the porch all day overlooking the beautiful view and the pool. We have stayed in the summer and fall. We came during a particularly hot time this summer, and the air conditioning did a great job keeping the house cool enough. The shade from the forest already protects the house, and the porch stayed cool. The pool and hot tub are clean and working well. The couch inside is big and cozy. There's plenty of seating outside as well. We like that the central part of the house is the hang out area with the bedrooms in the periphery. We have a big extended family that gets together every year, and this can actually accommodate all of us. Plus, it allows our small dog to come. That being said, this house sleeps 20 but only has one fridge. We all like to cook, so we had to be careful about our food planning and bring mostly perishables due to fridge space. This spot would be perfect for us if it just had one more fridge in the downstairs with the laundry. Also, note that the property says dog friendly, but the listing did not mention (at least when I booked) the 55 pet fee that the property management company requires. Luckily, I emailed a month prior to check and paid that. I apparently missed an old email with our rental agreement; when I hadn't gotten door codes etc the day before check-in, I emailed to inquire and learned that I hadn't signed yet. They sent & I signed."
