Boy, this will fix me as an historical artifact, but when I was a kid, these things were called Ski-doo's. No doubt because there was a single manufacturer who bore the same name. Jet Ski sounds more generic, and a little more fun, I guess. But, in either case, you're not really skiing at all. Water Hawg is probably a better description, but I doubt it would help anyone sell them. You don't need a big ribbon of water like the Columbia to drop one of these things in and start moving. But, it really seems to help. I'm frankly amazed at all the different craft and equipment that manages to commingle in this part of the river without ending up in a twisted mess. Suffice it to say, if there's some form of water recreation you enjoy
