The home and the surrounding area were very run down, dirty, and undesirable, nothing like the listing photos suggested. The property itself was clearly unkept and had numerous sanitation and safety issues.We immediately discovered we could not control the air conditioning, as it could only be adjusted from the host’s main house. The bedroom ceiling fan did not work, and despite contacting the host right...

"First and foremost the owner Edgar communicated really well with us and we felt comfortable that any issues would be dealt with promptly. Thr place itself is not exactly luxury but the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. It was a short walk to a beautiful lake with all kinds of birds and a really nice little restaurant, "the peach cafe" and ice cream. One warning I would have is the bedroom doorways are not high and very tall people may hit their head but its a small thing.Thanks...

"Lake Hunter Haven was a great stay! It was super clean, updated, all the things you need are there: plenty of towels and extras in the bathroom, all the kitchen tools and appliances, an amazing stacked washer/dryer, comfy bed and big screen tv. Lake Hunter is a short walk from the house and all Lakeland has to offer is a short drive. We really appreciated Michele’s great communication and ease for checking in and out."
