"Lovely cottage, super clean and beautifully renovated. We really appreciated the crisps and dog treats :) Parking right outside was handy. Beautiful log burner for a cosy night. Beds were super comfy. My daughter loved the smart-tech in the bathroom showing how much her shower cost. A bit tricky with our 4-legged friends. We have stayed at many excellent rentals but can honestly say that this was the best. "Lovely cosy cottage with gorgeous views. Owner was really friendly checking we’d settled in ok. Great location (as long as you have car) to get to nearby towns and attractions. Shame there wasn’t a pub within walking distance (as the road was too risky to walk on at night), however, the food and staff at the local pub in Yetholm (approx 1.5mile) were lovely and welcoming and food great! The only criticism I’d have of the cottage is that the bathroom and some decor could do with updating, however...

"The hotel is conveniently located with amazing views of the castle and the surrounding grounds, including the fields where the sheep graze. I stayed the first night in the room with the terrace, which I recommend. It is perfect for laying on the couch outside after dark to do some serious stargazing. The second night I stayed in apartment 27. There were stairs to climb to get to the apartment, but it was worth it. The apartment was lovely and clean and large (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a living/kitchen area), and the water pressure in the shower of the bathroom with the skylight was the BEST water pressure I've ever had in a shower in my entire life - at home or on the road. The staff was mostly very friendly, except for one waiter who was working during breakfast in the restaurant both mornings that I was there who was not friendly. But everyone else was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend."
